Welcome to Kimberly Bayer Photography

Welcome to Kimberly Bayer Photography! I am a Ventura County based Photographer specializing in Weddings, Engagements and the Boudoir Bombshellâ„¢ !! Thank you for your interest and taking the time to visit my Blog and Website! I love everything about weddings, down to every last detail and have always been the hopeless romantic that believes in fairy tales. I get weepy at every wedding I shoot or attend, and usually several times! I love witnessing the beginning of that journey as husband and wife and I love that I get to capture those special, unforgettable and candid moments that will last a lifetime for my Brides and Grooms. I would love to chat with you and hear about your own unique fairy tale and love story! I am undergoing a little bit of construction that is almost finished, so please keep checking back for the new and exciting changes. On this blog you will find continuous updates on current Sessions, Sneak Peeks, Specials, and even updates on things going on in my life that I want to share. Please feel free to "like" or leave a comment here as I love hearing from everyone! Also be sure to check out the Boudoir Bombshell at it's own Blog and Website above! xoxo

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!

Posted on 12/25/10 No Comments

I just wanted to say a quick Happy Holidays to everyone! It’s late, and I’m pooped but I couldn’t let Christmas go by without wishing everyone a happy one and posting a blog, especially since I missed Thanksgiving’s post. I had a lot to write and say, but I’m just going to keep it short and say love and appreciate all that you have and those around you. Hug, kiss and tell your loved ones you how much you love them. Remember what the holidays are really about. It’s so easy to get caught up in the craziness, I know I’m guilty of it every day and on days like today I try to take it all in an remember these things. Here’s a little taste of what my day was like….

Merry Christmas everyone! xoxo

I get to wake up to these sweet faces everyday =) And Harlow did have Christmas jammies, but you know babies they were done for by the time she woke up!

Helena is at the perfect age for things like Christmas morning! I think we were more excited than she was and are now experiencing the wrapping presents all night, making sure to go to every store to find that one toy they want that’s sold out and spoiling the kids rotten just like our own parents did! It is such a joy to experience these things through my children’s eyes. This is Helena checking that Santa had drank all the milk and ate all the cookies she left out for him =)

Harlow was much more interested in presents than I thought she would be, but of course she was happy eating the paper!

Helena going through her loot from Santa. She also found some of her sister’s baby toys much more interesting than her own, go figure. And yes, that’s the curly hair bedhead =)

Last New Year’s I bought a few Christmas decorations, packed them up when we got home and when I took out the decorations this year it was like a mini Christmas for me finding all I had bought last year lol! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this angel and Santa!! I’m so glad I bought them. I almost didn’t, my husband and my best friend’s husband were “yelling” at me to get out of the store already (and why are you buying that stuff) but I stood my ground, ha. Do you ever have those moments, then buy it and then every time you look at that item think to yourself, I love it and I’m so glad I bought it? It just makes you happy. Oh is that just me? Maybe I love to shop too much! I guess you get the point though =).

This year Helena and I made ornaments together so she could give presents to everyone. We had so much fun making them. I had to make an extra one for our tree with the girls’ names on it. We also did handprint/footprint ones. I may have created a new tradition and love the bling!! =)

This was taken about a week ago. I may be a photographer, but it is not easy to get photos where both kids not only cooperate but are both looking at the camera let alone both looking and smiling!
